We are searching for Systems Engineers to contribute to our Electrification group within our Driveline organization. This will be based out of our World Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan.

In this role, you will lead a strong team in the development of our electric axles and electric drive units.

Job Description

Vertical product management for system design throughout the product life cycle: from base concept definition to production validation

Drives product design to meet system requirements

Effective team management through discipline to ensure teams ability to meet program deadlines

Approves and provides guidance on new drawing releases, revisions, DVP&R, and DFMEA

Ensures that the development process follows internal procedures, as well as external standards (ie. IATF, ASICE).

Develops associates and overall system team

Collaborate with other groups to ensure DFM, DFA, cost, etc.

Up to date with electric propulsion trends of the market

Understands various highly integrated electric systems which include electric motors, gearboxes, and inverters
Bachelors degree in relevant Engineering. Advance engineering degree preferred

10+ years of product design and development experience in the fields of transmission/gearbox, axle, or electric propulsion in transportation
