This position will work with directly with program leadership and the customer to execute high level plans and roadmaps into actionable steps and lead a multi-disciplinary team across multiple companies to successful execution of the program activities. The experienced systems engineer will need to have proven experience with design, development, and deployment with low rate production of systems that are deployed in austere locations. Strong system engineering skills to include team leadership, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and RF systems are an absolute must.

Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop next generation sensor systems.
- Lead a multi-company team for the systems engineering, deployment, operational sustainment, production and advanced research and development.
Must-haves:

Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience

Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
-
Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

Advanced understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles

Experienced Systems Engineer developing sensor systems for austere locations

Strong RF system experience
-
MBSE experience Understanding of space operations

Strong communication skills

Work in a TS/SCI environment

Must be willing to to get and pass a CI Poly
