About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Developer with strong technical product management experience to join our client’s Services Marketing team. This role is highly hands-on, requiring both product management and technical expertise, with a focus on internal web applications that support various Lines of Business.

The ideal candidate is a developer with a product background who can think strategically, manage roadmaps, and contribute to coding efforts. If you’re passionate about building scalable internal tools, writing clear requirements, and collaborating cross-functionally, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Project & Product Management

  • Own and manage the roadmap for internal applications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and align on initiatives.
  • Write Requests for Comments (RFCs)—outlining pros and cons of new requests.
  • Facilitate education on the roadmap to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Drive enhancements to existing tools and explore new solutions.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Write tickets and acceptance criteria for development tasks.
  • Work closely with developers and designers to define solutions.
  • Contribute 60-70% hands-on coding to support the team.
  • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of internal tools.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • 1.5–2 years of Product Management experience (preferably in tech or marketing tech).
  • Strong experience with business requirements gathering and roadmap ownership.
  • Background in startups, small-scale projects, or self-taught development is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Must-have: PHP
  • Good-to-have: React, Laravel, Symfony
  • Experience with APIs, MVC architecture, and PostgreSQL.
  • Cloud experience
  • Strong understanding of full-stack development concepts (Python, Ruby, etc.).

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
