Programmer Analyst

essential team primarily focused on developing Windows desktop applications
that tightly integrate with industrial robots and machines. These will control the operation of a work

This position
requires face-to-face interaction with factory floor staff. All applicants must
be willing and able to safely work together within the factory environment.

Job Responsibilities:

* Works
with end users to develop software application use cases
* Designs,
develops, and tests software solutions to satisfy end user’s needs
* Designs
and documents software interfaces and performs testing to verify compliance to
interfaces
* Develops
and executes test plans to verify functionality of internally and externally
developed software at both the module and system levels. Testing may be on site at a vendor’s
facility, on Boeing factory floor, or in an office environment.
* Train
end users on the use of software applications developed by the team
* Analyzes
reported software anomalies to determine root cause
* Propose
solutions to identified system deficiencies
* Modify
and enhances existing solutions to address deficiencies and new functionality
request

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* This
position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US
Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US
Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
* 1+ years of experience with C#
* 1+ years of experience with .NET

Preferred Qualifications:

* Development
of multi-thread applications
* C++,
C++/CLI development using Microsoft Visual Studio
* Microsoft
*******, Dataset, and Entity Framework data access technologies
* Experience
with SQL
* Experience
with industrial robots and/or machine tools and their control
* Experience
with concepts and use of spatial mathematics algorithms for 6 DOF position
manipulation and forward/inverse device kinematics
* Experience
with aircraft assembly operations such as drilling and sealant application
* Experience
with an industrial robot simulation application to create a simulated work cell
containing kinematic devices and program the devices to perform manufacturing operations. Ideally the application would be 3DX.
* Willingness to support off shift users in a 24/7 manufacturing environment

Typical Education / Experience:

Technical
bachelor’s degree and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or a
Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A
technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a
mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
