Provider Network Reporting Analyst – Minnetonka, MN

You’ll use your strong customer service orientation and knowledge of insurance claims to serve as an advocate for providers in our networks. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes, create, and report on network data, including contracting activities, maintaining the "checkbook" and reporting on network adequacy and performance

  • Database and reporting design and use of analytical skills to design / develop, program, maintain, and publish reports

  • Present analysis and interpretation for use of network data to support health plan growth goals

  • Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysis

  • Develop recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and customers

  • Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate

  • You must be self-directed and creative, as you will deal with complex issues

  • As a key resource to others, you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to always meet deadlines

Required Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent years of experience



  • 1+ years of health care/managed care experience



  • 1+ years of provider relations and/or provider network experience



  • Expert level knowledge with MS Excel and Access



  • Strong proficiency with Tableau



  • Ability to translate business needs into data requirements



  • Experience with presenting data to senior leadership


Preferred Qualifications




  • Undergraduate degree


  • Experience with VBA and/or SQL in building complex queries



  • Experience with NDB data


  • Network adequacy regulatory reporting experience, including Medicare/Medicaid reporting
