Quality Assurance and Testing:
Geomni, Silicon Slopes tech-company located in Lehi, is currently seeking eager, meticulous, Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts to join our team. The QA Analyst is primarily responsible to review workflow bugs, deficiencies and design suggestions for CAD software deliverables in multiple agile environments.
As a QA Analyst, you will test applications that are used by Geomni’s clientele. In addition, you will assist in the development of production guides, training materials and user manuals. Your ability to focus on details and passion for precision & accuracy will be instrumental to your success. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will make you effective in your role as you tactfully present alternative solutions while advocating for our customers.

Additional Essential Functions include:
Ability to test applications to ensure they function as expected and are free from bugs, deficiencies and defects.
Collaborate with development teams to increase effectiveness in production tools and workflows. Participate in team and scrum meetings.
Assist in product definition for new versions; develop specifications for new production tool features.
Work with customers to determine root causes and solutions to problems.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements:
High school degree required. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Proficient computer skills (i.e. MS Office and Windows applications).
Must be a team player, quick learner, self-motivated with good critical thinking skills and work ethic.
Must have 2D and 3D spatial reasoning skills.
Experience in or knowledge of construction/roofing industry, insurance industry, and geospatial data industry preferred.
Experience in software testing, black box testing and defect reporting is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience using at least one GIS/CAD tool, including but not limited to ERSI ArcGIS, MapInfo, Global Mapper, Microstation, AutoCAD, etc.
