Description

Responsibilities

Work in a team environment reviewing and preparing documentation related to the qualification of fasteners, structural steel, steel pipe, tubing, and other related products for the nuclear power generation industry, ASME, ASTM and customer specifications.

  • Ensure completion of activities per procedures, specifications, customer purchase order and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation and certifications to be provided with shipments.
  • Determine required testing and examinations to qualify material based on material specification, procedural and customer requirements.
  • Review certifications provided by suppliers, inspection results and test results and determine conformance to material specifications and customer requirements.
  • Work with customers, suppliers, and 3rd party testing labs to obtain resolution on issues as they arise.
  • Work cross functionally within Mackson to ensure successful and accurate completion of customer orders.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and generate material certifications from technical data.
  • Effectively communicate technical information within the organization and with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to interact with customer, industry, and regulatory audit teams.

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates will possess a high school degree or equivalent, and preferably some secondary education.
  • Candidates should preferably be familiar with nuclear industry requirements such as: ASME B&PV Code (Section II / III); 10 CFR 21 & 10 CFR 50 Appendix B; ASME NQA-1; and ANSI N45.2.
  • Candidates with document control and quality records experience are preferred.
  • Candidates with Microsoft Word and Excel experience are preferred.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
  • Recent college graduates with relevant experience in a related field will be considered.
