Quality Assurance Assistant
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and quality assurance sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant
Location: Malta, NY
Pay Range: $20
Shift: 7am – 7pm, Sunday through Tuesday, Every Other Wednesday
What’s the Job?
- Coordinate safety and quality functions, supporting the Supervisor in daily operations.
- Audit shipments, work areas, and processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
- Maintain the Document Control Center, Data, and Records of the Quality System.
- Support internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in plant tours and ensure work areas are organized and compliant with safety standards.
What’s Needed?
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety standards diligently.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Willingness to support process improvements and participate in team projects.
- Open to developing new activities or projects as assigned.
