Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain inspection and shipping documentation.
- Verify quality records for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide customers with required documents, including packing lists, Certificates of Conformance, inspection reports, material certification and blueprints.
- Organize and maintain product job folders and Device History Records (DHRs).
- Communicate with customers regarding shipping documentation and outgoing shipments.
- Manage the gage calibration program, including tracking, reporting, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
- Coordinate with third-party calibration providers on services, statuses, quotes, and tracking.
- Maintain calibration data in software systems and escalate out-of-tolerance gages as needed.
- Collect and manage Material Review Board (MRB) data.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain housekeeping standards, support continuous improvement initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime when required.
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting quality, engineering, or operations.
- Knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, optical comparators, plug gages, pitch micrometers, and CMMs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and inspection instructions.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ERP, QMS, and customer software systems.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally.
- Experience in an ISO or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
