Our client, aerospace manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an essential part of the quality assurance department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Elkhart, IN

Pay Range: 19.50/hour

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What’s the Job?

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace materials and components.
  • Conduct quality control tests using standard measurement tools and techniques.
  • Accurately complete and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation in accordance with aerospace standards such as AS9100.
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection and gauging equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications are a plus.
  • 1–3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Prior experience using gauges, jigs, and molds for inspection strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
