Quality Assurance Technician
Our client, a leader in the metal manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting the inspection and testing processes that ensure the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Clearwater, FL
Pay Range: $25
Shift: Monday through Friday
What’s the Job?
- Perform mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections at various stages including First Article, in-process, incoming, and final inspections to verify product quality.
- File and maintain incoming component device history records for traceability and accountability.
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (Material Rejection Notices) and monitor corrective actions to address inspection findings.
- Document inspection results, report findings, and perform trending of key inspection process metrics to support continuous improvement.
What’s Needed?
- Experience working within the metal industry, particularly with turning center lathes and mills.
- Knowledge of DOD and Aerospace standards, including AS9100 certification, is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and detailed part prints accurately.
- Familiarity with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to resolve inspection questions.
- Bilingual in English and an Asian Language is preferred
