A client of Insight Global is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Integrations Platform Team. This group is responsible for 50% of their customers background check transaction orders! You will work with developers, product owners and other business stakeholders to enable the next generation of Sterling's integration service. You will have the chance to embraces the DevOps culture and take ownership of the end-to-end delivery, monitoring and issue resolution for your development. – BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferred

– Experience with TDD, unit & integration testing

– Experience writing SQL for MySQL or other transactional DBs

– Web-based front-end experience

– Experience in React, TypeScript or node. js
– 5 years professional development experience

– Experience building Restful APIs and working on Micro-services architectures

– Proficient in Java, Springboot, Junit or similar languages and frameworks

– Experience deploying to cloud services preferably AWS ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, Kinesis EventBridge, CloudFormation, etc

– Experience building Jenkins pipelines or other CI/CD tools
