An employer is seeking a Systems Analyst to join their team remotely within their digital technology group responsible for delivering digital solutions within the company's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) enterprise platform. The MES and MOM platforms support 34+ global manufacturing sites and engine centers. The version of the Solumina MES that the company is currently using, is going to reach it's end of life. Therefore, the company will be upgrading to Solumina iSeries, specifically version i70. This MES Systems Analyst will focus on process planning, manufacturing execution, and integration to the company's current ERP, which is SAP. They will help support the strategic roadmap for MES, and help integrate with new technologies as it relates to IIOT and industry 4.0. The MES Systems Analyst will be responsible for bridging gaps between business processes and Solumina functionality. They will need to translate customer requirements into a solution design, while meeting all budget, quality, and schedule targets. They will be responsible for production and end user support for the applications, and support the integration for Solumina and SAP. This resource will work with both internal customers, external suppliers, and business partners to architect and build system solutions. They will need to manage supplier and partner scheduled while working on multiple projects simultaneously with regular reporting. This is a functional based position, and they will need to write functional requirements, technical design documentation, and test plans. Technical understanding of Java programming is required, as well as some knowledge in SQL products.

4+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst within complex manufacturing

Expertise with a MES platform, Solumina a plus

Experience with process planning, execution, and system integration

Ability to write functional reqreuiemtns, test plans, and design documentation

Understanding of Java in terms of business processes

Understands integration points within SAP
