What Will I be Doing?

The Senior Power BI Developer for Information Management & Analytics leads the development of Power BI Dashboards and models. The Senior Power BI Developer may also provide additional leadership in training other team members and implementing security and governance.

· Provide business users a central point of contact to address questions and required changes to existing Power BI dashboards and analytics

· Edit existing or build new Power BI that are assigned to you appropriately.

· Where necessary, assist and/or mentor IM&A team members on Power BI dashboards that are assigned to the other team members.

· Assist in the development and streamlining of processes for developing new Power BI dashboards including, creating development plans, timelines, gathering requirements, hands on building models, dashboards, test plans, and migration plans

· Develop regular cadence of meetings and discussions with the HGV user base to ensure we are meeting the needs of the users and HGV with respect to their analytical needs

· Work with the IM&A team to continue to enhance user Power BI training program and material for our user base.

· Lead certain end users training session on Power BI Dashboards; both classroom setting and one on one sessions.

· Front-to-back management of ad-hoc requests for Power BI Dashboards.

· Responsible for training other analysts and team members as needed.

· Participates in data governance-related initiatives.

· Responsible for oral and written presentations to key stakeholders and the organization regarding the impacts of changes in how certain items are reported.

· Owns recurring deliverables and assigned projects.

· Responsible for data integrity in systems owned by IM&A, and ensures deliverables are adequately reviewed for accuracy.

Conducts forecasting analysis, takes part in project-based initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.

To fulfill this role efficiently, you possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3 years experience in DAX

  • 3 years experience Power Query M• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI

  •  Minimum of 2 years experience in SQL

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in positions of dashboard development.

  • Proven ability to communicate technical business requirements to non-technical end users

  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form

  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.  Attention to details is critical.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • 5+ years experience in DAX
  • 5+ years experience Power Query M
  • Timeshare industry experience
  • Experience with Google Big Query or DataBricks.
  • 5 years of Dashboard design experience
