Insight Global is looking for a Remote Software Engineer to support one of our largest clients located in Virginia Beach, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Identifying issues and common patterns with system quality and make recommendations for improvements, update existing codebases and peer review code changes, develop computer instructions through the use of algorithms, and implement new and improved technical designs and technologies.

– Experience with common e-Commerce systems: Payments, Social Login (Auth)

– Experience with Elastic Search
– Bachelors Degree in engineering, computer science or related field

– 4-6 years of experience in an engineering role

– Previous experience working through the entire software development lifecycle

– Previous experience in high-level programming languages, PHP, JavaScript, SQL

– Experience with web application frameworks such as Vue and React (Vue preferred)

– Experience with web server and service frameworks such as such Node, Laravel, Lumen

– Previous experience working within hardware, systems and coding

– Previous experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics
