Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Sr . NET Software Engineer to join one of their organic manufacturing clients on a completely remote basis. You will be engineering software applications in an agile environment that enables our business to run more efficiently. This role provides the opportunity to test new tools and implement your ideas. Your focus will be on the back-end but you may be pulled into projects where you will dive into other areas of our tech stack. Downstream, you will have the opportunity to explore products and solutions that have Machine Learning and AI components. This is a collaborative environment where you will learn from others while having your voice heard.

Tech Stack (for visibility):

Backend: C# , . NET Core , AWS (Lambda microservices, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, S3, Aurora Postgres RDS) , Postgres and MS SQL , Entity Framework Core , Redis , ElastiCasche

Frontend: Javascript , Angular 7+ , Bootstrap , rxjs , ngrx , HTML , CSS , SASS , Ionic 3+ (mobile)

Common: Github Source Control , JIRA , Jenkins Pipelines , Octopus Deploy.

Must Haves:

3-5+ years of programming experience using C# / . NET Framework

2+ years of experience with . NET Core (Core 2+)

Experience with LINQ integrated query language inside of C#

Solid SQL experience doing data modeling, reporting, query optimization, indexing a SQL Datastore

o Postgress, SQL management database

Hands-on experience in development and testing phases of the development life cycle

Experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies
