The Senior Business Analysts primary responsibility will be to work with stakeholders to gather requirements that bring clarity and drive winning outcomes.

Activities include but are not limited to:

Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers, as well as other leaders to frame out key initiatives.

Drive conversations that lead to better understanding of the unique project requirements.

Conduct a deeper lever of analysis where needed to gain a better understanding of the full scope of a project/program

Maintain a lens of priority of requirements and what is needed for an MVP approach

Translate requirements into Epics

Collaborate with the team to produce solutions with a proper balance of business needs, enterprise architecture recommendations, and industry best practices.

Articulate and present issue and solution in concise manner to leadership.

Organize and facilitate effective meetings with key stakeholders and resources so everyone walks away with clear next steps and responsibilities.

Proactive in identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. Take full ownership from beginning to end regardless of if work resides within our team or organization.

Anticipate stakeholder needs that might not be explicitly stated and discuss/develop solutions.

Navigate complexities of a large organization

Experience in asset management a strong plus

Bachelors degree in Science in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology

Understanding of data
7-10 of years of experience in technology business analysis

5+ years in financial services industry – selling mutual funds, manage money for large institutions, banking, retail, commercial or corporate banking, asset management, understanding capital markets

Strong Agile experience

Knowledge of Epics

Knowledge/experience with Jira

Experience with technical platforms – any platform knowledge

Experience working with/presenting to executive and senior stakeholders
