Our Manufacturing Engineers embrace our Lean Manufacturing practices by ensuring the company is using the appropriate level of technology on production processes during manufacturing. They provide support to the manufacturing line, while managing the accuracy of engineering documentation.

Our Manufacturing Engineers ensure that the products are manufactured safely, and are quick to detect any errors. They are constantly implementing improvements to eliminate waste and keep our company running smoothly. Our engineers have an exceptional opportunity to be innovative and hands-on, especially since they are given the opportunity to manage their own diverse projects.

Your role as a Manufacturing Engineer

  • Assist engineers in robotics design / configuration
  • Build or assemble the robotic devices or systems
  • Complete corrective or preventative maintenance
  • Dissemble, repair, reassemble robots or components
  • Test performance; record test procedures and results
  • Install, program and repair controllers, tolls, conveyors
  • Train operators on robotics usage
  • Streamline / improve the manufacturing / production processes with respect to:
    • Cost savings
    • Operator safety
    • Productivity / output
    • Reduced cycle times
  • 75% of the work day will be spent on the production floor
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Skills and Abilities 

  • CNC Programming and Robotics
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to communicate, collaborate, and implement projects with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient with computer software (i.e. CAD & Microsoft Office: Excel, Visio, Word)
  • Proficient with solid modeling software (i.e. Pro Engineer, Solidworks, Fusion)
  • Project management including establishing and maintaining project timelines with some direct supervision. 
  • Must be willing to actively participate in Rapid Continuous Improvement projects.

 Education & Experience 

  • 4 year degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 Preferred Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • CNC programming, fixture design and automation
  • ABB Robotics Programming experience a plus.
  • PLC Ladder Logic programming experience a plus.
  • Experience with 3D printing a plus
