More About the Role:
This unique and challenging ITSM opportunity on the U.S. Navy’s Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) program will allow participation on a high-visibility DoD program that provides engineering support to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the largest information technology (IT) network in the world.  Under SMIT, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.

Leidos is seeking a robotic process automation (RPA) developer to support efforts for the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract.  In this role, the candidate will be responsible for full lifecycle development of automations to improve and optimize the services delivered by SMIT.

What You'll Get to Do:
•Design, develop, document, test, and deploy robotic process automation (RPA) bots using UiPath.
•Design, develop, document, test, and deploy software written in PowerShell, C#, VB, Python, JavaScript, Java and SQL.
•Troubleshoot and resolve installation, infrastructure, and system issues.
•Perform analysis to develop business process changes to maximize efficiencies.
•Perform analysis, trending, and forecasting to recommend improvements to optimize performance and efficiency.
•Work with an Agile team, attend daily scrums, develop and maintain Agile documentation including backlog/requirements, task descriptions, and acceptance criteria to demonstrate working software while collaborating with a geographically distributed (remote) team.
•Frequently communicate and collaborate with other team members to ensure successful completion of project objectives.
•Proactively and independently identify, report, monitor, and mitigate technical risks.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
•Requires B.S. Degree and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience (in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant technical discipline). Experience may be used in lieu of Degree.
•Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an interim DoD Secret security clearance prior to start date.
•Ability to obtain a security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher, such as Security+ CE, within 60 days of start date.
•Full software lifecycle automation experience (design, development, test, deployment), including deployment to a production environment.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team.
•Robotic process automation bots development experience.
•Software development experience using PowerShell, C#, VB, Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, or similar programming languages.
•Experience with distributed version control software such as Git and Bitbucket.
•Experience using SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
•Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders and leverage deep analytical skills to understand complex procedural problems, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
•Independent worker with the ability to deliver with minimal or no supervision in a fast-paced, demanding, and fluid environment.
•Create a culture which drives continuously improved service delivery and process execution.
•Forward thinking and resourceful to ensure solutions are brought to fruition and requirements are closed properly.
•People skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience in order to conduct research on specified topics, determine conclusions, present the results in a logical and concise manner, and communicate changes that may not be aligned with the original expectations.
•Great organization skills to prioritize, follow up, deliver, and communicate status of assigned actions.
•Travel may be required.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Experience developing robotic process automation bots in UiPath.
•UiPath certification:
    -Automation Developer Professional.
    -Automation Developer Associate.
    -Automation Solution Architect Professional.
•Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Apps, BI, and/or Automate).
•Experience designing, building and deploying DevOps pipelines with Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory and Ansible (or equivalent tools).
•Experience designing and building automated software testing pipelines using Ansible, Selenium, JMeter, Junit and/or other applicable tools.
•Experience developing software in a cloud-based containerized environment using AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
•Experience developing and deploying software in a DoD environment (Navy experience is a plus), including experience building and deploying software applications that meet DoD security standards, including updating applications and code to meet security scans and meeting security implementation guidelines (e.g. STIGs).
•Hold an active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher, such as Security+ CE.
•Experience working on large-scale and complex programs.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 – $146,875.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
