Salesforce.com seeks a Director, Strategy & Planning, CSG at our San Francisco, California office located at 415 Mission Street, 94105. Duties: Automate data collection and categorization. Own the creation and communication of targets for Success Management and Renewals teams. Design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for CSG that capture the core goals of Customer Success and help incorporate them in CSG compensation plans and operational reports. Manage the annual planning program (G4G), coordinate across multiple teams from Territory Carving, Finance, ES, and Data teams to ensure that upstream processes are on track and that executives are appraised of key risks. Maintain current metrics owned within the team, which include Attrition, Adoption, and overall Account growth (AOV), with the potential to invent the next generation of innovative KPIs. Lead target setting for customer facing teams. Forecast annual attainment for customer facing teams against the targets set for each metric, supporting accurate financial forecasts of commission costs. Enhance statistical and analytical skills within teams to expand use of statistical modeling techniques to better understand the true drivers of CSG performance and inform business strategy, KPI design, and target setting. Automate data processing required for metric design, analysis, and target setting. Facilitate access to data from multiple sources and recompile historical data for accurate YoY and trending analysis. Present to executive groups on issues related to G4G or CSG Performance Management. Provide business partnership for leaders in Success and Renewals, helping them identify performance gaps in their business, understand the root cause, and identify solutions during the annual planning cycle. Engage with customer facing teams and build trusted, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, especially within the Success Management and Renewals communities. Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and six (6) years of experience in the field of systems analysis or business analysis or six (6) years of experience in the job offered or Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of systems analysis or business analysis or eight (8) years of experience in the job offered. Training will not be provided to applicants. Required skills: (1) PL/SQL data base; (2) Microsoft Access data base; (3) Tableau; (4) @Risk; (5) Microsoft Visio; (6) Web Services; (7) Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; (8) Oracle. Hours: normal business hours – 9:00am-5:00pm, M-F.
