Position Description:

CGI is seeking an SAP Application Security Analyst to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract. As the SAP Application Security Analyst, you will be involved in every stage of the application lifecycle, from design to deployment.

The candidate will be a part of a team which is responsible for delivering SAP security capabilities and solutions within the project SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will serve as a valued contributor with a strong SAP application security background in S/4HANA, S/4HANA Private Cloud, Rise in conjunction with SAP GRC, SAP BTP and some other non-SAP tools. The candidate should possess broad knowledge of SAP security structure, user authentication method, user access/authorization concept, user activity monitoring and audit/compliance reporting.

This project is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that leverages areas such as Agile/Scrum methodology to rapidly build solutions based on customer requirements. You are encouraged to learn more technologies and suggest improvements to business processes. You will be successful through your strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills.

This position is in our Fairfax, VA office. However, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Be a part of a team of SAP security analysts through the project life cycle.
Familiar with the tools and applications within project to provide SAP security solution by SAP best practice and the industry standard.
Develop, maintain and improve a secure SAP environment.
Participate in all security activities for system builds, upgrades, patching, client copies, and refreshes.
Take a part in SAP security workshops with clients and project personnel.
Engage the project team and client for project activities including but not limited to requirement gathering and status reporting.
Develop and provide extensive training and leadership to the client and internal teams.
Perform SAP security development, testing, user validation and other required project tasks.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
Minimum 7 years of experience administering SAP security for SAP Applications.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a leader for a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects.
Knowledge of SAP landscape security strategy and architecture.
Experienced in supporting project implementations with SAP solutions for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (SAP GRC), SAP BTP and other SAP security tools.
Experienced in SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based user authorization and access controls.
Hands-on experience in SAP security configuration, user administration, user authorization troubleshooting and role-based security development and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with SAP GRC.
Knowledge of SAP BTP.
Understanding of user authorization Segregation of Duties (SoD) concepts.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Current SAP Security Certification is desirable.
Project experience within the government agencies / public sector is highly desirable.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 – $190,900.00.
