SAP Functional Process Analyst, (Procurement/Planning)

Functional Process Analyst (FPA) – SAP Procurement/Planning Processes: This position focuses on ISC Procurement, Planning and Production Scheduling processes and tools. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in Procurement/Planning processes to allow ability to transition into other FPA support roles including Manufacturing, Repair & Overhaul, Quality and Logistics. Key member of the ERP Solutions team, FPAs have responsibility for supporting SAP sustainment and improvement initiatives. This is accomplished through self directed teams that become key touch points for Business functional teams on process and system improvements. Drives the utilization of Aero standard processes, provides user guidance and training, and supports change request process through active engagement of design and test of new solutions. The FPA has broad SBU exposure to resolve daily issues, support business design changes, and deliver training support as required. The FPA positions are 1st line resources for problem resolution supporting ISC needs.
Key support position driving the successful development, deployment, and improvement of SAP Business Processes and system enhancements.
This position heavily matrices to the FPLs, IT Projects, Product Centers, and Materials Management Executive teams. Role is accountable for rapidly driving toolset maturity, deployment, and utilization. Actively participates on SAP Support Communities and has voting privileges to approve/reject change requests and establish Aerospace priorities for acting on all approved change requests.

Candidate must be able to articulate gaps to business requirements and plans for closure of these gaps while maintaining the vision of One Aerospace – One System. The FPA drives closure through effective leadership – not just reporting status. Analyze and document business process requirements, complete
gap analysis, and assist in the development of Business Process Blueprint design & data mapping. Support the development of system solutions to complex issues, test adequacy of solutions; lead change management activities to drive introduction of changes; and monitor to insure results achieve objectives.

Support development and delivery of workshops and presentations to obtain buy-in from Product Center, SBU and Corporate process owners and users to validate process blueprints, organizational redesign, and the change management activities required for implementation of SAP initiatives. Engagement with IT Deployment Teams to support active deployments as required. In a self directed work environment the FPA will establish small work request project plans, identify and secure resources, and report progress on SWR initiatives. As a leader, the FPA positions regularly provide knowledge transfer to functional and IT personnel to grow overall Aerospace subject matter depth.

YOU MUST HAVE
– Bachelors degree in business/related field or 5 years SAP Procurement/Planning in lieu of a degree.
– Previous SAP experience as a Power User or Deployment team within OEM Procurement or Planning
– Strong experience and understanding of Aero ISC and Procurement/Planning key processes required. WE VALUE
– Six Sigma Greenbelt certification desired.
– Advanced degree preferred.
– Black Belt and Lean Certification a plus.
– General requirements include a strong foundation in procurement and planning.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to work well under pressure.
