The Johnson & Johnson Technology, Technology Services, Model Based Technology Center, is currently seeking a Scrum Master to join our growing team located in West Chester, PA.

We design, develop and deliver high quality business applications, software solutions and services to meet J & J business technology requirements. Capability areas include Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Document Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, CAD Data Management, Risk and Requirements Management, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality.
Supporting the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Development Team to deliver on the Product Backlog.
Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example.
Guiding and coaching the team to ensure Scrum practices and principles are adhered to throughout Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including solution requirements, design, development, testing, validation, deployment.
Ensuring the Development Team is self-organizing.
Facilitating all Scrum Ceremonies, that is, the Daily Stand Up, Product Backlog refinement, Story Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review (Demo) and Sprint Retrospective.
Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity.
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment, on a continual basis.
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on collaboration and problem solving.
Facilitating completing work without coercion, assigning or dictating tasks.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and providing metrics.
Supporting the Product Owner, especially with respect to refinement and integrity of the Product Backlog.
Leading team testing, validation, and deployment activities within a Release Sprint.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preferred field in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Scrum Master developing software using Agile methodologies is required.
Scrum Master Certification (i.e. CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP) is required.
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies is required.
Strong understanding of the Product Owner, Scrum Master and Development Team role and User Epic and Story Creation is required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work effectively with teams is required.
Experience developing and validating software in a Regulated Environment is required.
Domain experience in one or more of the capability areas above (PLM, etc.) is required.
Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action is preferred.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and X-ray testing plugin (or similar, i.e. Rally, HP ALM) is preferred.
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is preferred.
Scrum of Scrums – multi-team experience is preferred.
Project Management experience, certifications (i.e. PMP), tools is preferred.
This position is located in West Chester, PA and may require 10% travel.
