Our client is seeking for a Security Firewall/Firepower Engineer to join their team for Late Shift Support.  The ideal candidate will have a CCNP-CCIE level equivalent expertise:

Job Title:  Late Shift – Security Firewall/Firepower Engineer
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $45-$50/hr W-2
Shift Hours: 5 PM to 1 AM EST

What You’ll Do
As part of the team, you will work with an outstanding team of Tier 3 Technical Consulting Engineers. You will work as part of a collaborative team to provide support during critical network issues as well as managing a case load of lower critical issues.

Who You’ll Work With
The team provides Tier 3 technical support at security classification to the Federal and SLED customer base via phone, email, web, and remote access for R/S, Security, Collaboration, Datacenter, wireless, Service Provider (both hardware and software) to customers, partners, account teams, and other engineers via phone/email/ consultation to independently troubleshoot and debug product problems.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications

  • Sole US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a clearance
  • Security Expertise with at least 1 of the following: ISE, VPN (IKEv1, IKEv2 SSL, VPN, AnyConnect, IPsec), FirePower and/or Stealthwatch
  • Strong Hands-On Security ISE Experience
  • Currently doing Tier 3 Troubleshooting & Support ticket-taking/managing a queue
  • Desire to do break/fix troubleshooting work as primary role
  • CCNP level experience NEEDED, CCIE would be a plus
  • Resolution leader, problem-solving – troubleshooting methodology
  • Communication & Facilitation, Listening & Affirmation, Influence & Persuasion, Public speaking & Presentation, Coaching
  • A team player focused on customer success Desired Skills
  • BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred)
  • Must have good customer/communication skills
