Our client is partnering with Aquent to find a Senior Data Scientist to join their pioneering Retail Media Network, which is experiencing rapid growth and shaping the future of personalized marketing. In this contract role, you will specialize in campaign measurement and audience creation. You will play a pivotal role in developing and refining machine learning models that optimize media spending, enhance campaign effectiveness, and unlock valuable customer insights. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of analysts, data scientists, and engineers to build and maintain efficient pipelines, processes, and monitoring solutions. Your expertise will empower data-driven decision-making and drive.
What Will You Do:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain machine learning models to measure the incremental impact of digital advertising campaigns and model new audiences.
- Create classification and regression models using cloud-based tools and standard packages like Pandas, NumPy, and SciKitLearn.
- Code media mix and multi-touch attribution models using cutting-edge techniques to optimize media spend and channel usage.
- Build the framework for statistically sound campaign measurement using the latest techniques in synthetic controls, audience inference, and lift measurement.
- Collaborate with other data science teams to integrate models into a standard MLOps framework, including CI/CD and monitoring.
- Work closely with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to build and maintain efficient pipelines, processes, and monitoring solutions.
- Perform advanced data analysis using SQL and Python (Pandas and NumPy).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes.
- Clearly and concisely communicate complex data findings and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You Must Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, and/or measurement within retail media, digital media, marketing, or advertising.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong skills in Python (including NumPy and Pandas) and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies.
- Post-secondary education in computer science, statistics, or machine learning. Master’s or higher a plus.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Cloud certifications.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is C$43 to C$50/hr, T4. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
