Senior DevOps Engineer

The Pharmacy Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for building and administrating the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the development, testing, and deployment of Pharmacy software services on cloud infrastructure. This role will also provide consulting services to application and infrastructure teams specific to automating build, testing, and release processes.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Design and Administrate DevOps CI/CD workstreams that support the full SDLC and PDLC processes
  • Administrate CI/CD Toolchains
  • Develop and support CI/CD platform roadmap
  • Support CI/CD tooling and processes to drive and improve, create playbooks
  • Work in an Agile, fast-paced, DevOps environment
  • Experience in scripting languages but not limited to: Python, Perl, Bash, and Groovy Experience in Safe Agile, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab, Jira, Ansible, SAML
  • Driving team to maintain cloud framework and technology certifications and knowledge of infrastructure
  • Drive CI/CD innovation and best practices for supporting cloud infrastructure and ensuring reliability, resiliency, and quality to product teams

What are the requirements?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of CI/CD administration or related discipline
  • 8+ years of Jenkins experience

What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?

  • Strong expertise with Git/GitLab and Git/GitLab workflows
  • Strong expertise with DevOps toolchain technologies but not limited to Azure, Git and GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Subject Matter Expert in Groovy, Perl, Python, and Bash and excellence in debugging
  • Strong experience in enterprise monitoring tools such as DynaTrace, MoogSoft
  • Expertise in working on cross functional projects that involve all levels of management
  • Process Oriented and Driven Individual and a strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Contribute to and maintain standards and best practices and support Architecture and Infrastructure teams
  • Experience in root cause analysis, incident management, implementing corrective/preventative actions
  • Ability to balance priorities and dynamic workloads and ability to be available for on-call rotation

How much should I expect to travel?

  • <10% – occasional travel to Change Healthcare offices or meetings may be required
  • Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
