SALARY: $96,000 – $216,000 (pending location)

ROLE SUMMARY:  
The Job & The Team 

TechOps Engineering is a function inside Anheuser-Busch responsible for building and modernizing software products that supports the lifecycle of technical solutions running all aspects of the business. – breweries, sales, craft breweries, vertical operations, marketing, wholesalers and back office. 

As a member of the Software Engineering team (doing DevOps), you will collaborate with multiple Software Engineering teams to implement infrastructure, host and maintain CI/CD systems, automated testing systems and monitoring systems for the entire TechOps stack. You will take ownership of all infrastructure, security and authentication used by the TechOps function. You will also have the opportunity to influence architecture and the technology stack to promote quality and innovation necessary for industry changing data driven machine learning systems. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Design and implement foundational infrastructure components used by every engineering team production (e.g. dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration, security testing and compliance, etc.) 

  • Own and implement reusable tooling for CI/CD pipelines, including continuous unit testing, data quality testing and integration testing systems. 

  • Own and implement cloud infrastructure, architecture, security, cost/throughput and a roadmap to achieve a multi-cloud platform. 

  • Build a cloud-agnostic Infrastructure-As-Code approach structure as we expand internationally. 

  • Research and implement new technology to keep the team at the front of innovation. 

  • Contribute towards the long-term technical roadmap for TechOps.  

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Who we are looking for 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related engineering field. 

  • Real-world experience developing scalable software. 

  • Strong Unix and Windows administration experience. 

  • Experience working in teams to develop and support production-quality tools and/or services to support internal teams (engineer, data, etc). This ranges from database management, system monitoring, secrets management, and more. 

  • Required skills 

  • Bash and PowerShell scripting

  • Symantec version automation 

  • Docker, Kubernetes

  • Comfortable with C#, .NET, ReactJS, Python, TypeScript
