Job Description
Through its people and brands, CNH Industrial delivers power,
technology and innovation to farmers, builders and drivers all around

Agriculture, Case and New Holland Construction, FPT Industrial,
Capital, and Parts & Service, is a major international force in its
specific sector. The Senior DevOps Engineer will create solutions for
building, deploying and monitoring our software, focusing on
automating, integrating and streamlining our build and release
operations and processes. This individual will define, develop and
maintain the tools and platforms supporting our build, test and
deployment capabilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about
automation, integration and continuous improvement. This individual
has the experience and desire to develop a true CI/CD pipeline and
will lead the configuration, integration, build and deployment of the
Android and Linux software builds for the CNH SW and Electronics
department. In this position, the person will work with multiple
stakeholders, such as Project Managers, Software Engineers and Test
Engineers to create a unified release plan integrating a complex
software configuration spanning multiple software architectures,
hardware modules and target vehicles.
Responsibilities include:
Create and maintain an infrastructure the enables rapid iteration
across engineering teams
Implement and maintain build, release, delivery and deployment
pipelines Define and drive consistent CI/CD processes and plans
Implement and maintain tools to further automate build, release
packaging, deployment and configuration management processes Manage
build automation and integration tools (Jenkins, Maven) and processes
Work closely with Software and Test Engineers to develop, maintain,
and improve code analysis, unit testing reports, automated integration
testing and continuous test deployment processes Provide solutions to
help improve the scalability and reliability of the entire system
Create and maintain documentation for our DevOps processes and tools
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of build and
deployment related issues Manage integration and release schedules
with multiple project stakeholders Support developers with usage and
training of software build and configuration tools Create scripts to
automate build processes to improve organizational performance Provide
gate checks on software deliverables (documentation, unit tests,
reviews) prior to integration Drive department towards best-in-class,
continuous integration/delivery tools and procedures Release software
products to external stakeholders Manage releases of multiple software
variants to multiple vehicle platforms

Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar area
5 plus years of software development experience using C++, Java or
3 plus years of experience installing, configuring and maintaining
DevOps tools and technologies such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit,
Artifactory 3 plus years of experience with virtual development
environments such as Vagrant and container management tools such as
Docker or Kubernetes 3 plus years of experience setting up automated
build and delivery pipelines using Jenkins 3 plus years of experience
managing and configuring Azure servers Ability to travel domestically
and internationally 5% of time
The preferred candidate will have:
Experience automating processes using configuration management tools
such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible Android development experience in Java
Experience with common open source tools such as Android
Studio/IntelliJ Experience with Internet networking protocols
including TCP/IP and Ethernet Understanding of Android Operating
System Architecture Experience in developing Embedded Systems (C, C++,
or Java), especially in a Linux environment Experience using
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, such as Polarion
Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence
Experience working in Agile environments
