Work Location:
Fully Remote – U.S.

Position:

Seeking an experienced (lead level) AWS DevOps developer or solution architect with the ability to plan, design, implement and document AWS centric CI/CD pipelines and contribute to cloud enablement and cost optimization efforts while promoting cloud best-practices.

Specifically, the candidate must be able to materially contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automated deployments, metrics collection and reporting, logging concerns, and DevSecOps requirements. The candidate must understand development and deployment workflows and be capable of providing actionable guidance on application re-factoring efforts.

This candidate will be expected to mentor and work in collaboration with other team members and other dev teams to deliver against designated requirements and committed timelines.

Core Responsibilities:

  • AWS – 4+ years deploying and managing applications in AWS
  • Lead Experience – 3+ years in a role demonstrating ability to own and drive deliverables with minimal technical guidance
  • CloudFormation and Terraform
  • AWS CDK (w/ Python and/or Java)
  • AWS Lambdas / Step Functions
  • AWS ECS / Fargate / EKS (containerized deployments)
  • CI/CD automation using GitLab (or comparable)
  • Docker Compose
  • Experience monitoring and managing cloud deployments (i.e. CloudWatch), including the implementation of auto-scaling and other cost-management techniques

The applicable base pay for your state is listed below. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, ClaimsXten Portfolio offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The base pay range for this position is $100,737.00 – $249,480.00
