Senior Electronic Test Engineer
Location: Harleysville, PA
Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 DOE

Candidate must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret Clearance, which includes US Citizenship.

Job Description

The Senior Electronic Test Engineer provides testing and engineering services for the company and oversees the testing of Test Technicians and Test Engineers. The position aids in the company goal of providing high quality testing and engineering services and quality customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Provides engineering reviews of assigned programs and those of assigned           technicians.
•    Oversees and performs the testing of assigned programs and reviews test           setups of assigned test technicians.
•    Generates test data for assigned programs and reviews and signs off on test       data of assigned test technicians.
•    Provides technical review and signs off on test reports of assigned programs       and those of assigned test technicians.
•    Provides technical preparation of assigned test procedures, for both internal         and external use.
•    Provides daily supervision of assigned test technicians and test engineers.
•    Assists in the development of technical training programs.
•    Provides on the job training, and documentation of such, for assigned test             technicians.
•    Assists in the development of new testing services.
•    Generates assigned quotations.
•    Assists the Laboratory Supervisor in scheduling of jobs, personnel                         evaluations, and customer interactions.

Job Requirements
•    Excellent knowledge of measurement equipment (such as, but not limited to, DMM, Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer).
•    Excellent knowledge of MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, RCTA/DO-160, and/or IEC test standards.
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Excellent computer, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong math skills.
•    Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•    Ability to work independently.
•    Ability to lift 50 pounds-bend, lift and twist.

Education and Experience
•    A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET Accredited institution
•    A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the EMC field.
•    Knowledge of some or all of the following standards and test requirements:
     • MIL-STD-461
     • RTCA/DO-160
     • FCC Part 15, Subparts B and C
     • ISED ICES and RSS Standards
     • EU EMC and Radio Equipment Directives
     • UKCA Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations
     • iNarte Certification desired.
     • Excellent knowledge of EMC Test Equipment including:
     • Spectrum Analyzers
     • EMI Receivers
     • Signal Generators
     • RF Amplifiers
     • Measurement Antennas
     • Oscilloscopes
     • Experience with TILE® Software desired.
