Description

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Network Administrator for a new customer on a strategic High-Performance Computing (HPC) program. The Senior Network Administrator will need to be a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good judgment, and the ability to work within a team to mature the HPC capabilities of our customer.

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls (all three supported locations).

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with appropriate poly

• Candidate shall have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Systems, or Network Engineering and at least five (5) years of demonstrable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration, monitoring, security, and protection.

• Or the individual shall have five (5) years of full time CS work that can be substituted for the Bachelor’ s degree and at least five (5) years of demonstrable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration, monitoring, security, and protection.

• IAT Level II Certification required.

• Candidate must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks. With the following skills: Installation, configuration, and support of:

• Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, InfiniBand, Juniper, Fiber Channel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)

• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.

• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols

• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.

• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite

• Able to support on-call requirements.

• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.

• Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers

Pay Range:

Pay Range $112,450.00 – $203,275.00
