Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for a full-time position onsite in Newark, DE!

What You’ll Do

  • Leading and actively participating in a series of initiatives to quickly identify and implement opportunities and system process efficiencies

  • Participating in workflow and process improvements with team members to document current processes and begin the steps maintain or modernize current systems

  • Developing a production backlog/roadmap and defining business case for the department

  • Led 4-6+ active projects and work streams and associated with daily support of and improvements within the department in handling daily business requests and performs recurring technical support tasks while working on all types of sized projects. 

  • Lead and actively participate in a series of initiative to quickly identify and identify/implement opportunities and system and process efficiencies

  • Work with team members to document current state processes and begin the steps maintain or modernize current systems, including developing a production backlog/roadmap and defining business case for the department

What You’ll Need

  • 7-10 years of hands-on Senior Project Management experience

  • Experience working within a PMO

  • Multiple project workstream responsibilities experience

  • Resource Leadership supervision of 5-8 team members experience

  • Waterfall (PMP) and Agile (CSM/Coach) methodologies experience

  • Strong documentation and communication

  • SDLC – Software/application delivery experience 

  • Vendor management skills and experience

  • Software / Application / Platform implementation

  • Modernization experience

  • Government/State project experience (any)

  • Contractual experience (RFP/SOW/MSP)

  • Executive level delivery

  • Resource Management

  • Experienced in workflow and process improvements

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
