What is the opportunity?
You will be planning, directing, and coordinating activities across Finance IT US Regulatory Projects to ensure project goals or objectives are accomplished within approved timeframe, scope and budget as part of the Finance IT Project Management Team. The Finance IT PM team supports the Finance Function and Finance Change Management teams in the project delivery for related IT applications and initiatives.
What will you do?
-Plans and executes projects including managing project scope, requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities as well as determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics / assumptions.
-Works with Business/Technology Owners to ensure that the deliverables achieve the business result that enables value creation; setting up appropriate governance and oversight of all projects
-Develops integrated baseline project plans applying estimated models; documents estimating assumptions, refines plans and manages performance against them.
-Determines quality standards and oversees the execution / production of management documents.
-Identifies and manages project costs and budgets (approx. $3.5MM- $5MM) anticipating operational and tactical risks.
-Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves project issues and escalates to immediate manager when required.
-Facilitates schedule and cost forecasting; mentors project managers/team members in determining risk based provisions.
-Manages project communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project team, etc.
What do you need to succeed?
-5+ years Project Management experience
-3+ years’ experience with Product Control, Valuations IT and/or Reconciliation applications
– 3+ years’ experience with Regulatory initiatives i.e. CCAR or Volcker
-Advanced project management knowledge including plan development; scheduling methodology; project metrics gathering, analyzing, and reporting; risk and issue assessment and quantification methodologies; cost/benefit analysis and alternatives identification; budgeting, financials and benefits management.
-Possesses a working knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies
-Experience managing projects with high level of value ($3MM to $5MM) and a high level of complexity and uncertainty
-Matrix managing a diverse team consisting of business analysts, developers, and QA with excellent facilitation skills
-Experience with system migrations impacting Product Control and/or Valuations IT applications
-Experience in RBC Project Management framework
-PMP, CSM or similar Agile certification
