Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects in the Salt Lake City market. This role will oversee project execution from preconstruction through completion while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance targets are met.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned electrical construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing complex commercial or mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to lead and manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Your role includes coordinating with general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors. You will be tasked with identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies. Your role will involve project management, construction management, budget management, contract management, time management, planning and organizing, team management, negotiation, and risk management.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry.
2. A strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
3. Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple project stakeholders.
4. Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
5. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
6. The ability to lead and manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
7. Experience in coordinating with general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors.
8. The ability to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
9. Strong skills in project management, construction management, budget management, contract management, time management, planning and organizing, team management, negotiation, and risk management.
