About the role :

 We are recruiting Senior Project / Program Manager for the PIA program – on a full-time basis, for the duration of the projects /program for that Value Stream. PIA focuses on making our processes simpler,though automation and technology across the organisation and embedding these changes within our teams while leveraging our hub network where appropriate. The work is organised in E2E Value Stream, such as Source to Pay, Lead to Cash, HR, etc. Value Stream Leaders (VSLs) have been appointed.
The role is accountable to manage and deliver large and complex strategic projects/programs across Haleon on behalf of the enterprise.
This role will coordinate the delivery of outcomes for multiple personas and require effort across different part of the business, product, and tech product, often to a high commitment delivery milestone. The Senior Project / Program Manager will leverage Haleon's program delivery and management capability through direct delivery of programs and work with Business and Tech stakeholders as well as Strategic Vendors to manage interdependencies and assure delivery of all assigned Projects / Programs. The Senior project / Program manager will report into the Value Stream Lead to provide independent reporting and challenge and ensure smooth delivery of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

In terms of the role, you can expect the Senior Project / Programme Manager to undertake the following:

– Ensure that all projects- within scope are delivered- on-time, within scope and within budget.

– Understand scope and objectives and own the end to end project plan tracking progress.

– Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

– Facilitate the project / programme cadence on behalf of the Value Stream throughout the week to meet the needs of the project / program and phases of project/ programe.

– Ensure resources are clearly tracked

– Co-ordinate the documentation of Change requests related to project scope, schedule, and costs for approval through programme governance.

– Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

– Report and escalate to management as needed.

– Produce management reporting on progress for the projects / programme within scope

– Manage the relationship with all stakeholders.

– Ensure risks / issues are identified and managed appropriately.

– Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

– Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including evidence to support the Go/No Go Release Management process.

– The size and magnitude of the transformational change necessitates a leader with the right proven experiences, strategic thinking, thought leadership, senior stakeholder management and execution capabilities.- Credibility (through experience) is essential to success in this role.

To be effective in role, experience of the following in a programme environment will be essential:

– Excellent relationship management, strong influencing, and communication skills with all levels of the organization including senior stakeholders.

– Had responsibility for implementing a robust set of ways or working and governance that is embedded with the team and practiced rigorously.

– Setting deadlines, tasks, and budgets for projects and tracking their progress

– Understanding and adhering to project standards, processes, and methodologies, contributing to their evolution where necessary

– Identifying and capturing Risks, Issues and Impediments in a timely manner, and ensuring that those identified are being managed proactively

– Producing and presenting management status reports to support the progress of your projects

– Has first-hand experience in tracking and reporting progress in a systematic and robust way.

– Needs to have managed and conducted escalations to other teams and to senior stakeholders.

– Excellent teamwork skills

– Track record in successful programme and project delivery across multiple markets and regions globally concurrently with complex inter-functional designs and dependencies.

– Track record in delivering business impact through process and IT enabled solutions.

Preferred experience :

– A project management certification (Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner (PRINCE2), Certified Project Management Practitioner (CPMP), Agile Experienced Project Management
