Job Details
The Project Manager plays a central role in driving the success of electrical utility projects, overseeing everything from early-stage estimating through execution and closeout. This position supports both master service agreements and project-specific work across a diverse client base. You will be the key link between customers and field teams, ensuring every project is aligned with contract requirements, executed safely, and delivered on time and within budget. This role calls for someone who can operate with confidence, take ownership, and grow into a highly independent leader.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects and long-term service agreements in alignment with company standards and operating procedures
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted partner throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead contract development and execution, including negotiations, change management, subcontractor coordination, and material procurement
- Identify risks early and implement effective strategies to manage scope, cost, and schedule changes
- Develop detailed estimates and proposals for both individual projects and ongoing service agreements
- Facilitate key project meetings such as kickoffs, progress reviews, and safety discussions
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to operations and field leadership to support execution
- Deliver consistent reporting on project status, performance, and financials to both internal teams and clients
- Maintain accurate monthly financials with proper documentation to support internal controls and compliance requirements
- Drive strong financial performance by managing budgets, cash flow, and cost controls across all projects
- Oversee billing processes to ensure invoices are accurate and issued on time
- Support emergency response efforts and storm restoration activities when needed
- Promote and uphold safety and quality standards across all aspects of project delivery
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience within battery storage, substation construction, or similar utility infrastructure
- Solid understanding of core project management principles, including cost, schedule, and risk management
- Comfortable working with standard business software, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is a plus, but not required
