This global energy and commodities trading firm that engages in physical trading, logistics, and financial market solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team. They specialize in buying and selling physical commodities such as natural gas and crude oil while also managing risk through financial instruments. While operating across the entire energy value chain, including power, gas, oil, and coal and renewables they also offer services like asset optimization, logistics, transportation, and risk management. This Position will be fully remote.
In this role, you will be joining their development team to work on their trading commodities application. Ideally, they are looking for a software engineer with strong communication skills and 5-7 years of experience. You will be working on various trading applications while putting excel in real time data and commodities data for stock trading with the overall goal being providing high-impact, low-cost solutions to accelerate us to a zero-carbon future.
Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with C# and .NET Core
• Previous work with Kafka, Cloud, and SQL
• Experience using Angular, React, or Vue
• Knowledge of Python

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Previous experience working in Greenspace or financial tech.
