The Crown Is Yours

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in crafting and optimizing our software solutions, collaborating with multiple teams, and contributing to the evolution of our industry-leading products. You will join one of our crucial Platform Engineering teams that focuses on developing and enhancing tools and systems used across the entire company to uphold our high standards of operational excellence. You will be responsible for delivering essential features and improving existing systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute to the development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance. Build and operate platform components enabling intelligent features such as semantic search, automation workflows, and context-aware services. Support retrieval-based architectures, including document ingestion, chunking strategies, and vector stores.

  • Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code, primarily in C# and .NET Core, following best practices for software engineering. Contribute to services that support agent-style patterns, tool invocation, external system integrations, and structured context handling (e.g., MCP-like approaches).

  • Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to help grow technical capabilities across the team.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify specifications, and ensure technical solutions meet the needs of the business.

  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo to facilitate efficient software delivery.

  • Apply DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to streamline application and cloud resource deployment processes using tools like Flux and Terraform.

  • Manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure and automate application deployments using Helm Charts.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience, ideally with experience in C# and .NET Core. Additional experience in backend or platform engineering using Python or TypesScript is a plus.

  • Experience working with distributed systems and microservice architecture, building scalable and resilient solutions.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for software applications, with an ability to diagnose and resolve issues in complex distributed environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization.

  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern deployment strategies (e.g., canary and blue-green deployments).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), as well as experience working with Kafka, would be a strong asset.

  • Understanding of GitOps methodologies for managing and automating infrastructure and application deployments is highly desirable.

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, would be advantageous.

  • Experience in logging, metrics, and dashboard creation using tools like DataDog and the ELK Stack would be a plus.
