About the Role:
The Solutions Architect is responsible for providing Pre-Sales technical solutions in support of Account Management team strategy with the goal of positioning solutions to drive revenue. This position will report to the Client Architecture Manager and will support the Account Teams during sales calls, sales campaigns and other client activities. The Solutions Architect will provide technical information and guidance during calls to support the sales initiatives.

In addition, the Solutions Architect will maintain a productive relationship with the Account Teams and strive towards having open and continuous communication. The resource will participate in various meetings, conference calls, and actively update the Account Team with new information when necessary. The Solutions Architect will also take active responsibility and ownership of the account and solution to ensure its quality and customer success.

What You’ll Do:
Provide Pre-Sales technical solutions support to the account teams: drive revenue targets, conduct discovery meetings to understand the client’s technology environment, and white-board solutions in an articulate way that flows and illustrate the purpose;
Capture and process the customer information to build a solid proposed solution that address the requirements while considering the solution’s efficiency, flexibility, scalability, reliability and availability;
In collaboration with the Account Team, present the proposed solution to the customer and answer any questions, concerns that may arise;
Proactively follow-up with customer as requested and required with punctuality;
Actively participate in the solution configuration process with the Inside Sales Representative and ensure the software/hardware order is accurate and complete;
Reach out to respective manufactures’ Solution Engineers for assistance and support when necessary;
Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and associated Manufactures;
Provide on-site assistance as needed to address and resolve issues;
Provide Post-Sales technical solutions support when needed: participate in the installation of some of the solutions;
May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Equivalent proven industry experience may be considered. Storage Certified Engineer highly desirable.
Minimum 7 years related experience in designing technology solutions for mid-market organizations and higher preferably in an IT consulting organization on a project type engagements.
Significant experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
Significant design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications
Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
Knowledge of virtualization, AWS, Azure and / or other cloud platforms
Experience with web servers and common relational databases used in today’s application architectures
Security experience a plus
APM experience a plus
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with an ability to present technical issues to a non-technical audience.
Strong analytical skills regarding technical and project management issues.
Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver results under pressure.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands.
