Description
Tuknik Government Services is hiring a Senior Systems Analyst to work
at our customer s site in Washington, DC. This is a direct, full time
position with our company. Must have a be able to obtain a Public
Trust clearance.

The Senior Systems Analyst will use analysis and design techniques to
build automated solutions that solve business problems. Will work as
part of a team to define, develop, configure and support automated
solutions with the aim of improving business efficiency and
productivity.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are
not limited to:
* Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements
* Research technical solutions to address business needs
* Define technical and functional requirements
* Assess business process and system inefficiencies
* Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including
recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
* Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by
building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders;
identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary
processes and practices; monitoring progress and results;
recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and
adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new
responsibilities
* Produce required analysis documentation (business requirements,
scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state
proposals, UAT plan)
* Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements,
provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
Position Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a
Public Trust clearance
* 7+ years dedicated experience as a Systems Analyst
* 7+ years of SDLC experience
* 7+ years of experience implementing automated solutions to solve
business requirements
* Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written
communication skills
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to work positively with the project stakeholders
* The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision as
well as working with a team.
Working Environment & Conditions
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office
position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The
incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate,
handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and
arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit
for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read,
perform simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of
stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move items that
weigh up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for the job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception,
and the ability to adjust focus.
