We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to join our high-performing product team in Bellevue, WA. This position is an integral part of the enterprise product team that is responsible for Program and Portfolio Management tools, services, and processes. At the core of the suite of products lies CA PPM (ITG), Decision Lens, and Viz Center (custom Tableau app). These tools store enterprise program, project, and service related performance, budget and prioritization information. The Information Technology Governance (ITG) tool is used to capture project information, report status and help needed, manage schedules (SDLC Milestones, IT & DA Control Gates, project milestones, release dates, etc.), display financial information, and more. These products are at the center of Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT & DA) program office (PMO) operations and is used to digitize our governance and allow for managing projects and services, monitor performance through trend analysis, and report status to leadership.

Our team is a pathfinder at Boeing and in the industry on digital governance and we are in the middle of taking our digital journey to the next level. We need a leader to help us chart the course towards an integrated product capability that will ensure we are spending our investment with in the right development initiatives and ensure those initiatives are bringing the business value that Boeing needs to continue being the global industrial champion.

Responsibilities:

* Plan for long-range application system development needs, define required hardware, software and infrastructure to support new and existing systems

* Collaborate with other Architects to ensure integration of business systems planning with company-wide strategic initiative planning

* Manage software development lifecycle including design of application, deployment, and support ongoing maintenance.

* Work as part of team responsible roadmap planning and cross-dependencies with other ongoing work Support and mentor development team

* Define measurable success criteria to ensure compliance with architecture principles and direction

* Identify alternatives to ensure optimal solution by surveying existing solutions and vendor-neutral market options

* Develop and perform trade-off analyses to identify preferred solution including build vs. buy decisions

* Work with product manager to guarantee alignment for business and technical roadmaps

* Provide visibility and assessment for long term product plans

Qualifications

Typical Education/Experience:

Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Required Qualifications:

* This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience with software development

* Minimum of 5 years of experience with Lean/Agile software development (i.e. XP, Kanban, Scrum, etc.)

* Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting large scale COTs applications from a project management or finance perspective

* Minimum of 3 years of experience providing architecture leadership to a project or service at a large Enterprise scale

Preferred Qualifications:

* Interface experience with ServiceNow

* Interface experience with Workday
