Senior UX Designer

Summary:The Senior UX Designer will effectively translate complex business requirements, coming from the product organization, into exceptional experiences using proven user-experience methodologies. The designer will work closely beside key stakeholders during the design process, and iterate frequently based on feedback generated from user testing and research.

Creative Strategist: Ability to provide creative, modern, and forward-thinking design solutions for a variety of desktop/mobile application issues. Ability to conceptualize through flows at both a high and very detailed level.

User Focused: Constantly validate design choices through user research and data. Ability to concede on personal preferences for the preferences of our users.

Quality Producer: Work closely with the design team to consistently deliver high quality experiences befitting of the product and organizational standards.

Team Player: Ability to effectively provide and accept critical feedback, as well as contribute generously during team discussions.


Deliver thoughtful and consistent design solutions for complex applications, at an exceptionally high caliber

Consistently empowers teammates to do their best work, while continuously pushing to grow and learn themselves

Orchestrate and deliver strategies for projects based on user-centric research and expertise

Consistently act as an ambassador for the design organization and be a strong advocate against any compromises to product quality particularly in design

Effective communicator who will provide professional recommendations to leadership and team based on previous experiences

Coordinate with various teams to gather feedback and subject matter expertise regarding products in multiple spectrums

Work with the team to establish and meet deadlines as to ensure accountability, while also maintaining a passion for quality

Closely monitor development returns and ensure the design vision is being met with minimal compromise

Provide ideas and engage a forward-looking approach to our daily processes and workflows

Establish and maintain best practices surrounding design patterns, ensuring we are efficiently leveraging resources as they are available

Provide clickable prototypes to assist in validations through user testing and research

Provide coaching and real-time development opportunities for team members

Must Haves:

An absolutely stellar portfolio which demonstrates exceptional capabilities, specifically around application development and user experience

7-10+ years of proven work experience, although truly exceptional portfolios could override that ask

Deep understanding of the mobile-first mentality, and proven experience delivering responsive design solutions

Proficiency in standard UX applications and tools such as Sketch, Adobe, Axure, and Invision

5+ years experience working in a team design atmosphere

Able to rapidly prototype and quickly identify and solve shortcomings found during ideation

A deep passion for user satisfaction and delivering consistently to meet expectations

Ability to think outside of the box to determine the best method for implementing creative solutions

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency working in large-scale applications and interfacing with common UI elements

Relationship-building and the ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders and competing priorities

Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to take both high-level and complex requirements, and establish a process to ultimately convert those into highly performing experiences

Understanding of design process and the value of design and design thinking, human-centered design, rapid learning design and user experience best practices

An innate curiosity and ability to ask the right questions to get the root of a need or issue

Strategic thinking, with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the tactics when needed

Experience with a global company and distributed workforce

Demonstrated self-motivated work ethic

Strong ability to embrace change with a good sense of humor
