Senior UX Designer

We are looking for a senior user experience designer for our Data
group. This individual will own the UX design discipline within a new
cross-functional team charged with developing software for financial
professionals. We need a designer who loves the challenges of turning
complex data into meaningful design, translating usage patterns into
intuitive, rewarding interactions and workflows, and working in an
incredibly collaborative Agile environment. This position is based in
our Chicago office.

visible in your work. We require a love of elegant interfaces, refined
typography, and honestly visualized data where others see only
numbers. A bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant
professional experience is required.
We re looking for the following strengths:
Information architecture – Be highly proficient in solving
navigation and information organization challenges at a system
level. Coach coworkers on how to make decisions around information
structure, relationships, and strategy.
Design thinking Expertly utilize design thinking methods in
day-to-day work, including collaborating with the team to
successfully incorporate these methods into an Agile process.
Evangelize and coach other designers, business leads, and
stakeholders in the value of design thinking to solve user needs
and realize business goals.
Experience design – Identify connections between products and
communication channels and guides teams to build coordinated
solutions. Partner with the product owner and engineering lead to
support the end to end vision of the product.
