Due to an unprecedented period of growth, we have a LONG-TERM REMOTE CONTRACT position opportunity for a SR. WEB DEVELOPER to provide product websites functions are flexible, scalable, evolve and deliver consistent user experiences, both internally and externally, while using standards-based web innovations.

What you’ll do

• Contribute thoughtfully to the Security codebase and design system.
• Collaborate closely with designers by reviewing mockups, creating proof of concepts, and providing alternative solutions when necessary.
• Scope and implement individual-level technical solutions with minimal guidance.
• Ensure quality of code within the team by participating in code reviews.
• Refactor existing code to meet new patterns and standards.
• Build pages which are optimized for speed, performance, and devices.

• 10 + years of experience, OR 7 + years with a Bachelor, OR 5 + years with a master’s degree and possesses a proficiency with writing standards which are compliant, accessible, and semantic within HTML.
• 5 + years of expertise in writing global, reusable CSS; familiar with various methodologies for architecting CSS, such as BEM; familiar with CSS preprocessors, such as SASS.
• 3+ years of working within CMS (Content Management Systems) – building, creating, and deploying updates to site configurations.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO best practices.

Desired skills

• Proficiency in using PHP.
• Experience writing modular and performant JavaScript as well as working with version control software like Git.
• Knowledge and Expertise with Screaming Frog, Semrush, or Ahrefs
• Bonus: Knowledge and Expertise with WordPress
• Bonus: Mastery of React or other JavaScript libraries or frameworks
• Bonus: Competence in developing and using CI/CD workflows
