As a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant, you will lead the way in coordinating ServiceNow implementations by providing mentorship and innovative thinking to our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, technology strategy consulting, and Security & Risk domain standards. Find solutions to business problems ensuring that the new solutions fit into the existing enterprise architecture from technical, business, user, and other perspectives.
A ServiceNow Business Process Consultant must be able to describe the solution in a language that is understandable to all, facilitate communication (bridge the gap) between process owners and the C-Suite. Additionally, provides technical leadership on projects, including hands-on-problem solving and development, mentoring, and peer review.
In this role, you will:
- Lead Requirements workshops and design discussions for Security & risk projects, consulting on both ServiceNow and Security & Risk standard methodologies.
- Manage all important project processes such as: platform architecture documentation, integration, documentation, work-effort estimation and hands-on advanced development.
- Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.
- Fulfill Project´s technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers.
- Adhere to technical design mentorship within our projects following standard methodologies.
- Understand how the ServiceNow application will look, what modules will be in scope, and how they will interact with each other.
- Define the Risk vs. Value Proposition for third party integrations with ServiceNow
- Outline to partners how Governance functions with regard to the platform and project.
- Contribute to improving Delivery Services processes and advancing the various portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and standard methodologies with a focus on Customer needs.
- Lead, educate, mentor and develop the company’s collaborators who are assigned to the projects.
- Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
- Act as the final blocking issue point for technical decision-making within a project.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, or Sciences.
ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript are required.
Professional Certification:
- IT4IT, ITILv4, TOGAF Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer
- 2+ Security & Risk ServiceNow CIS Certifications
What will help you stand out (preferred skills)
- Demonstrable experience in 2 additional product lines outside of Security & Risk
- Has a high-level of understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, API’s and mobile application design.
- Superb communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to advise and influence, providing options with pros, cons, and risks; offered leadership to collaborators on governance, business processes, and/or technical matters.
