Job Description:
The ServiceNow CMDB Functional Consultant is responsible for designing and optimizing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs, aligning CMDB design with best practices, and ensuring effective configuration management. They will also partner closely with our external Implementation Partner. The Functional Consultant will use their expertise to provide insights, define processes, and ensure that the CMDB aligns with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and supports IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) functions.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure domains and supporting technologies.
· Extensive experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM/ITOM modules.
· Strong understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITIL framework.
· Proficiency in data management, reporting, and using ServiceNow configuration and customization tools.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills for effective client engagement and requirements gathering.
· Ability to document processes, design solutions, and create governance frameworks.
Preferred Certifications:
· ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – CMDB
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
· ITIL Foundation Certification
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field or related experience.
