Job Summary

 

The Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator is responsible for ensuring operational compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), United Airlines requirements, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory standards. This position supports continuous improvement by conducting audits, monitoring operational processes, identifying gaps, and partnering with leadership teams to drive corrective actions and maintain service excellence.

The expected pay rate is $32/hour. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.  

 

Your activities

Compliance Auditing and Monitoring

  • Conduct audits, observations, and reviews to verify compliance with SOPs, work instructions, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Identify process gaps and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Oversight

  • Monitor key operational processes, including cargo acceptance, documentation, data capture, and other critical functions to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Verify the proper completion and retention of required forms, records, and operational documentation.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Monitor daily Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators, communicating performance trends and areas of focus to management.
  • Prepare reports and assist leadership in tracking and resolving operational and compliance issues.

Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with operational leaders and frontline employees to promote a culture of quality, safety, and accountability.
  • Support the development and implementation of process improvements, training initiatives, and updated procedures.

Your profile

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in cargo operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or airline operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of United Airlines cargo processes and applicable regulatory requirements, including Dangerous Goods regulations, preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to conduct investigations and provide clear, objective findings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
