The Role!

As a Software Developer, you'll be diving into the world of designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems, primarily focusing on the backend. Your role is crucial in collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn requirements into functional software solutions.

You'll start by learning to write clean, efficient code and conducting thorough testing to ensure software quality. Your journey will involve contributing to system scalability, security, and innovation, all while following industry standards and best practices. What you'll do…

  • Code Development: Begin writing reusable, testable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and company standards.
  • Learning High-performance Applications: Gain insights into designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications for optimal user experience.
  • Understanding Security and Data Protection: Learn to implement robust security protocols and data protection mechanisms in developed applications.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Collaborate with teams to grasp requirements, brainstorm solutions, and understand detailed implementations for software challenges.
  • Data Solutions Integration: Start integrating cutting-edge data solutions into operations, including but not limited to Kafka and MongoDB.

Software Development Engineering Team Overview

The primary purpose of a Software Development Engineer team is to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of Kantar Profiles and its customers (B2C and B2B). This team play a crucial role in building and improving software products, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and performance, and delivering value to the business and end-users.
