We develop software for monitoring semiconductor manufacturing process and are looking for individuals with engineering knowledge and passion for programming to maintain and expand our current flagship product. Simply put, we are looking for engineers that love to solve real world problems using software and at the same time want to create a product rather than a onetime solution.
Maintenance and expansion of a mature, yet ever growing Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) product targeted at semiconductor manufacturing industry. We create over 250 new features a year. The software consists of a single code base used to generate 4 distributed components and some 250 communication DLLs. The software is written in C++ and heavily utilizes threads for asynchronous capabilities. As part of the team you will be required to
- Learn the software to understand how our customers use it.
- Understand the customer needs and how to translate the requirements into features that extend and not break existing functionality.
- Implement features using C++
- Find and fix bugs
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related technical field.
- 3+ years’ experience working in semiconductor manufacturing company on data acquisition and analysis projects
- 3+ years’ experience in writing engineering code
- Demonstrated ability and passion for programming
- Knowledge of C++ and Object Oriented Design
- Experience with multi-threaded applications using ownership model
- Experience with MFCs a plus (You will be required to learn it if do not have current knowledge.)
- Experience with databases
