QUALIFYING FULLY REMOTE STATES: PA, NJ, FL, AZ, MI, TX, DE, NH, DC, NV, MN, MD, NY, KY, GA (must sit in or be willing to relocate)

A client is looking for a Software Engineer (C#/. NET) to join their device team. He/she will be supporting the Mobile Device Management applications/hardware and the Enterprise Portal. This team manages retail sales systems, that are used on over 10,000 devices across the country (i. e. Point-of-Sale devices). This role will heavily involve middleware technology, multithreading, and Windows Services for communication between the hardware/software. Additionally, he/she will be programming in C#/. NET and conducting basic testing. Daily they will work with the QA team to ensure proper test plan, test coverage, test execution, and defect remediation.

Experience with Retails Sales systems or POS (point-of-sale) systems/devices
6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus in Middleware technologies (NO Front-End)

Extensive experience/knowledge of creating, implementing, and managing multi-threaded processes using C#/. NET or C++

Experience developing interactive APIs, writing libraries/DDL, and working with Windows Services

Experience with background processing and integrating any type of physical hardware or device (i. e. Point-of-Sale devices, Kiosks, printers, etc.)
