WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Software Engineer II – Full stack, you will be part of a dynamic team driving the creation of both backend and frontend solutions, delivering powerful, high-performance applications across digital and in-store platforms. You will be passionate about creating seamless user experiences, efficient backend processes, and quality code. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Full stack development, thrives in a collaborative, agile environment, and is eager to build consumer-focused applications for Nike’s Digital transformation.
You’ll have-

3+ years in full stack development
-
Skilled in front-end (React, Next.js) and back-end (Node.js, Java)

Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL
-
Familiar with cloud environments (AWS preferred)

Proficient in Test-Driven Development using JUnit, Jest, or Mocha
-
Knowledgeable in relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB)
-
Experienced in CI/CD, version control, and agile practices
-
Strong team collaboration and communication skills
-
Understanding of UI/UX best practices, performance optimization, and responsive design

Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Nice to have:

Experience in the Retail domain

Experience with serverless architecture (Preferred: AWS Lambda)

Familiarity with observability tools such as SignalFx, Grafana, and/or Splunk

As a Software Engineer II in the GaME organization, you’ll help deliver exceptional digital experiences for Nike’s consumers worldwide. Your contributions will shape and enhance scalable, consumer-driven platforms.

You will contribute to the development of Full stack solutions that bridge the backend data and frontend user experiences, focusing on performance, reliability, and usability.

You will work closely with product and design teams to implement new features and refine existing functionalities, enhancing consumer engagement.

You will participate in peer code reviews, sharing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high-quality code standards.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will report to the Engineering Manager at Geographies & Marketplace Experiences – India Technology Center, who will support your growth and career development. Working within a collaborative team of engineers, you will contribute directly to innovative, consumer-centric solutions. You’ll work closely with a Lead Engineer for technical guidance and design insights, while also sharing your skills and technical expertise to help shape our team’s long-term strategy.
